The path of the citizen controlled by the Nazi state, graphic, undated. Every “national comrade” was to be registered in a Nazi organization all his life. Uniforms were visible sign of the hierarchical structure and membership of the people’s community.
Defense plan for Berlin, March 1945. It was drawn up after the “basic order for preparation to defend the Reich capital”, 9th of March 1945. The order stated, “The Reich capital will be defended to the last man and the last ammunition round.”
